LE MAKI DU VERCORS

We love this authentic Holiday cottage, surrounded by tall fir trees and right next to a river, which is so pleasant in summer!

There's a precise moment when everything slows down. That moment when you open the car door and the air changes, becomes fresher and more lively. Where the fir trees filter the light and you can already hear the murmur of the water: welcome to your interlude in the heart of the Vercors Regional Nature Park. In the morning, you have your coffee on the terrace, in the still silent inner courtyard. A few yards away, a quiet little road separates you from a large garden. And behind it... The river is there, accessible, almost confidential. You dip your feet in. The gîte is located 2 km from the village of St Martin en Vercors, where you'll find shops (bakery, grocery store, bar/tabac, restaurant, etc.). 1h30 from Lyon and 1h15 from Valence and Grenoble, between La Chapelle en Vercors and St Julien en Vercors, the ideal spot to enjoy the joys of the mountains in summer and winter. Whether you're a nature lover, a sportsman, a hiker or an observer, come and recharge your batteries in this mountain environment. Numerous special sites: les Grands Goulets (tunnel), le Pas de l'Allier, le Pas de l'Âne, la Vierge du Vercors, Rochers de l'Allier, Via corda... Not forgetting the Nordic resort of Herbouillly, the family resorts of Font d'Urle and Col de Rousset, and further afield the neighboring Villard de Lans-Corrençon border area (27km).

First floor: kitchen opening onto living room, dining area and sitting area (sofa bed 1x140), TV, armchair, shower room/WC.
First floor: shower room/WC and three bedrooms. The first bedroom has two single beds or a double bed (2x80 or 1x160), the second bedroom has a double bed (1x160) and access to a balcony, while the third, smaller bedroom has two single beds including a Bunk beds (2x90).

From the ground-floor living room, access to the terrace with garden furniture and charcoal barbecue, enclosed by two gates.
Across the road (not very busy), a grassy area to be shared with the owners: picnic table, sunbathing area and river access for swimming.
2-3 parking spaces on the property. Close to the D103.
