In the southern Vercors, at the foot of the Regional Nature Park, in a small Drôme village, the gîte offers peace and quiet. Set in the heart of a peaceful hamlet, it's a little corner of paradise for hiking and relaxing. The Gervanne valley abounds in marvellous viewpoints. Sports enthusiasts will love kayaking on the waters of the Drôme. The hilltop villages that carve out the landscape are ideal for strolling: Beaufort-sur-Gervanne, Cobonne, Gigors-et-Lozeron and Monclar-sur-Gervanne. Don't forget to take the Clairette de Die route, the pride of the region, and stroll through the markets of Crest, Saillans and Die, where you can discover the aromas, flavors and scents of the Drôme region.
Adjoining the owners' dwelling, separate entrance. First floor: living room with kitchenette, dining area, sofa, bathroom/wc (shower cubicle, washbasin), mezzanine with double bed ((1x140), ladder, low ceiling, more suitable for a child or an agile person). Upstairs: bedroom with double bed (1x140). Garden furniture in front of the gîte with pergola, barbecue. Parking on the property. There's a bakery on site, which Jean-Marc makes available to local bakers. He will be delighted to show you around. You can use the bread oven when it's not in use by the bakers (on request). The house is bioclimatic and was built using ecological materials. For furniture and appliances, the owner hunts down and favors French or European manufacture. There are no TVs, microwaves or freezers. Access to a shared washing machine is available on request.

Nous avons passé un séjour de pur bonheur au gîte du Fournil de la Sye, qui a été le point de départ idéal pour toutes nos aventures dans la région. Nous avons exploré la vallée de la Drôme et fait de superbes escapades dans le Vercors, avec toujours la joie de retrouver le gîte en fin de journée.Encore merci pour votre accueil si chaleureux et pour avoir contribué à rendre notre séjour inoubliable. Excellent séjour
5/5Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au gîte du fournil de la Sye. Il est très bien situé pour visiter la vallée de la Gervanne, et le parc naturel du Vercors. Le gîte est confortable et très agréable à vivre, avec une belle vue sur les alentours, et nous y avons été accueillis avec beaucoup de générosité et de sympathie par Jean-Marc. La présence du fournil est vraiment un plus ! ;)

Gîte calme au milieu des cigales
5/5Le gîte tout simple nous a beaucoup plus: petite terrasse, espace vert bien agréable, une vue magnifique... Bref le Vercors.
La rencontre avec le propriétaire était riche d'échanges, ses présents ont été bien apprécié.
Nous avons également rencontré une personne dans le fournil et échangé, son pain excellent.

5/5Bonne base pour rando à la journée, y compris à partir du gite, et découverte de la région. Propriétaire sympa qui sait tout faire. Pains frais spéciaux sur place à la demande. Grand calme, sauf le matin; réveil par la colonie de chukas. Epicerie à Beaufort en Gervanne pas très loin. Confort correct même si évier cuisine petit, pas de micro ondes, pas de machine à laver, pas de télé. On va à l'essentiel et c'est très bien comme çà. Bâti de caractère et bien isolé avec jardin d'Eden. Bonne remise en forme au vert. Bon accès internet via le téléphone. Et les chats sont charmants

Un excellent séjour
5/5Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce gîte très bien arrangé et équipé, dans une petite vallée très belle et très calme, avec une très belle vue. Le lieu est à la fois très reposant et ressourçant.
Nous avons aussi beaucoup apprécié d'être à côté du fournil où travaillent différents boulangers, nous avons eu la chance de déguster le pain fabriqué sur place !
