A medieval town in the Drôme Valley, Crest is a must for anyone travelling through the Drôme. Its tower, the highest keep in France and Europe, offers an exceptional panorama of the Diois mountains. The bravest can even abseil down it. The 3 beaks, the Saou syncline and forest, Couspeau and the valley's hilltop villages are just some of the places to discover. For nature lovers, there are numerous hiking, biking and mountain biking trails nearby, and kayaking down the river is a unique experience. Upstream on the River Drôme, you'll find the Diois vineyards (Clairette and Crémant de Die classified AOC). Medieval festival on Whitsun weekend and Crest Jazz Vocal festival in August.

Situated 3 km from Crest on 50 hectares of land planted with lavender, truffle, saffron and sheep, the Fournil gîte is far from the hustle and bustle of urban life. Patricia and Christophe have taken it upon themselves to renovate this old farmhouse while preserving its charm. First floor: kitchen, 1 bedroom with double bed (1x160), laundry room. Raised first floor (a few steps): living room. Upstairs: mezzanine with four single beds (4x90). Basement (also accessible from the first floor terrace): 1 bedroom with double bed (1x160), 2 shower rooms/wc.
