Nestled in an oak forest, overlooking the peaceful village of Arpavon, in the wild setting of Drôme Provençale and the Baronnies Regional Nature Park, it offers a rejuvenating retreat while remaining close to the region’s treasures: Nyons (25 min), Rémuzat and Buis-les-Baronnies (30 min—renowned for their cliffs, rock climbing, and via ferrata), or the Pas des Ondes lake (40 min).
Certified “Valeurs Parc naturel régional,” the Chalet is nestled in the heart of a preserved Forest on the “Rocher Roux” estate. This 15-hectare property offers you absolute tranquility. The estate also includes the owners’ residence and three other chalets.
Carefully furnished, your Chalet has been designed to offer a functional and cozy interior.
• Ground floor: Bright living area with a sitting area, opening onto a covered and shaded terrace perfect for relaxation. Well-equipped kitchenette. One bedroom with a double bed (140x190). Bathroom with toilet.
• Upper Level: Sloped-ceiling loft (maximum ceiling height 1.40 m, accessed via a "Japanese-style" staircase) equipped with a pull-out bed (2 beds 70x190), ideal for kids or adults with good mobility.
• Comfort: Electric heating included.
• Recreation: Access to a natural cooling pool (spring water), shared with the other small Chalet (open from mid-May to mid-October). Petanque court.
• Property: Vast 15-hectare grounds perfect for walks in the heart of the Forest. Hiking trails radiating out from the Chalet.


The area is ideal for outdoor activities: hiking, biking, or horseback riding starting from the Chalet, with guidebooks available. On-site, you’ll enjoy a natural swimming pond and a grill to share with the second small Chalet nearby. Please note: the ponds do not have safety barriers. A simple, peaceful place in the heart of unspoiled nature.

Located on the vast Rocher Roux estate (15 hectares), it offers a setting of absolute tranquility.
Other chalets are located on the estate: a large chalet for 10 to 12 people that also serves as a stopover holiday cottage for hikers during the off-season, a second independent chalet identical to yours, and a chalet for 2 to 4 people equipped with a Spa and a small private pool.

Carefully designed, your Chalet has been thoughtfully planned to make the most of every square meter, offering a functional, warm, and perfectly organized interior. You will particularly appreciate the covered and shaded terrace, a true additional living space for your outdoor meals.

Upper Level (Mezzanine): Attic-style sleeping area (maximum ceiling height of 1.40 m) accessible via a Japanese-style staircase. This area is equipped with a pull-out bed offering two single sleeping spaces (70x190), ideal for kids but can also accommodate two adults with good mobility and a weight not exceeding 75 kg.
