The region is renowned for its production of olive oil (from Nyons) and Côtes du Rhône. The climate is mild and clement, and the half-Alpine, half-Provençal landscapes of the Parc naturel régional des Baronnies Provençales will win you over. The area is ideal for outdoor activities such as hiking, climbing and via ferrata on the St Julien rock at Buis les Baronnies, and mountain biking.
