LA TAPIE

As soon as you arrive, the change is clear. A small road, open fields, small hills, a few scattered houses... then this stone building, just sitting there. No traffic, no background noise. Just space, sky and the wind in the trees. You can hear the birds even before you open the car door.

There's nothing ostentatious here, and that's precisely what appeals. The Holiday cottage is an old farmhouse, with thick walls, shutters and a tiled roof. What brands it is the absence of constraint: no direct vis-à-vis, no rigid fences: just a plot of land stretching out towards the hills. Kids run and explore. Inside the Holiday cottage, you'll find: a living room that invites you to get together, two bedrooms where you can sleep soundly (in the silence of the night), a cool atmosphere in summer, pleasant after a day outside. It's often outside that everything happens: in front of the door, a small table for morning coffee. Next to it, a dining area and, a little further on, a relaxation area under the trees. And all around, grass, paths and gentle hills. You can move a chair and sit wherever you like, depending on the light or your mood. From the Holiday cottage, you can set off on foot along the little paths in the area, without taking the car. You'll discover the landscapes of the Drôme Valley and the Diois, with its hilltop villages and local markets. Less than 15 minutes from Crest, with its imposing keep dominating the valley, the Upie bird sanctuary, the botanical village of Chabrillan and 20 minutes from the Ramières nature reserve, you can swim and canoe on the Drôme river, hike on the Diois massif, discover the Clairette de Die wine trail...

You'll remember not only the place and its surroundings, but also: breakfast that lasts longer than expected, meals outside without looking at the clock, evenings when the light falls slowly behind the trees, the silence, especially at night...
And also the welcome of the owners, Odile and Maurice, present without being intrusive, with a sense of simplicity that immediately puts you at ease. This place works particularly well if you're looking to: - spend time outdoors without a hectic schedule, - get together as a family or as a couple, - enjoy quiet surroundings without being isolated from everything.

Entrance via kitchen and dining area, TV lounge with BZ sofa, 2 bedrooms: one with a double bed (1x140), the other with two single beds (2x90). Accessible via 5 steps down from the kitchen, shower room (shower tray, curtain, washbasin) and toilet, laundry room. Private garden with garden furniture and electric barbecue.
