You're in the Vercors Regional Nature Park. Hiking, biking and horse-riding are all possible in the Royans, and more generally in the Vercors and Drôme.
The Holiday cottage is close to rock-climbing sites (rock-climbing crags nearby, accessible on foot). Saint Jean en Royans is a 5-minute drive from the Holiday cottage. Saint Nazaire en Royans is 15 minutes away (boat trip, garden with petrifying fountains...). There are also many caves to visit (Choranche, Thaïs, La Luire...).
Vassieux en Vercors, famous for having been a major site of resistance during WW2, is 40 minutes away (memorial and Vercors resistance museum). In winter, for Nordic activities, the Grand Echaillon ski resort is 25 minutes away and Font d'Urle 30 minutes.
Detached wooden house, access via a step at the front door. Fitted kitchen opening onto the living room, dining area, sofa, TV, desk, wood-burning stove, bedroom with double bed (1x160), separated from the living room by a glass roof, shower room (shower cubicle, washbasin, washing machine), separate toilet.
Private terrace with garden furniture and second terrace in the shade of an ash tree.
The Holiday cottage is adjoining the owners' outbuilding and is opposite their house (slight overlooking possible).

Toto38 Bon séjour
Nous avons passé une très belle semaine. Les propriétaires n'étaient pas présents (nous les avons eu au téléphone) mais une amie voisine nous a reçu.
Le logement est très agréable et fonctionnel. Le coin est très calme (à la campagne !) et les ballades autour dans le Vercors sont agréables.

Midnight Accueil parfait
Pour séjourner dans différents gîtes de France depuis 40 ans, nous sommes enchantés d'avoir connu les propriétaires du gîte, un couple accueillant et prévenant.
Dommage que nous habitons loin du Vercors car nous aurions pu devenir amis.Le gîte est parfait pour un couplé.
Dommage que le soleil n'était pas au rdv.
