Located just 3 km from the peaceful village of St-Bardoux, very close to St Donat-sur-l'Herbasse (5 min) and 20 min from Romans-sur-Isère and Tain l'Hermitage, our bed-and-breakfast enjoys a prime location. It’s the perfect stop for a comfortable break on your way to your vacation destination, for business travel, or for a longer stay. From cultural discoveries to nature getaways and culinary delights, the Drôme offers a wealth of experiences. Nearby: Lake Champos (10 min), Postman Cheval’s “Palais Idéal” in Hauterives (25 min), Avenue des Brands and the Shoe Museum in Romans-sur-Isère, the abbey and medieval streets of Saint-Antoine-l’Abbaye (30 min), the hanging houses of Pont-en-Royans (40 min), the paddlewheel boat and Thaïs Cave in Saint-Nazaire-en-Royans (30 min), and the Garden of Petrifying Fountains in La Söne (30 min). Just 1 hour from Grenoble and 1 hour and 30 minutes from Lyon, our region will appeal to both those seeking relaxation and those eager to explore. In the village: on Tuesdays in June, July, and August, the Bar d’Où Lien brings the local scene to life.

The result of careful thought and designed with care and passion, our bed and breakfast, “La Parenthèse des Collines,” has just opened its doors. Accommodating up to 6 guests, the house features 3 bedrooms, including a family suite consisting of 2 separate bedrooms. Each room offers a peaceful setting with soothing colors, ideal for recharging after a day of exploring or traveling. On the ground floor (1 step), the COSY SUITE features a private entrance and a covered private terrace. It is equipped with a queen-size bed (160x200 cm) and an elegant bathroom with a glass roof. The restroom, located outside the suite, is shared. On the first floor, our hallway leads to the family suite, which consists of the NATURE and ZEN rooms. Each room features 140x200cm beds, hardwood floors, storage space, and a window with electric roller shutters and an unobstructed view. The private bathroom on the landing is equipped with a freestanding bathtub, a large shower, and a toilet. On the second floor: a 50m² air-conditioned attic is dedicated to relaxation. There you’ll find a well-stocked library, numerous board games, and a cozy sitting area. The heart of the house is on the ground floor, centered around a beautiful communal living area with a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with a TV, and a space dedicated to breakfast when it is not served outdoors.

Outside: several areas have been set up for your comfort and leisure: private parking on the property with a gate, terraces and relaxation areas, a 6.5x5m Piscine open from May to September depending on the weather and secured with a mesh cover, an exercise bike, and a ping-pong table.

Highlights of the house: the option to enjoy a table d’hôtes meal by reservation, pool towels provided, and the company of our adorable four-legged friends: a cat, a dog, and two goats. We pay special attention to the quality and origin of our linens. The bed linens are made of 100% cotton, Oeko-Tex certified, and the pillows—filled with cotton, down, and feathers—are made in France from natural materials. As for the bath linens, they are made in Portugal from 100% cotton (700 g/m²) and are also Oeko-Tex certified. Committed to preserving a peaceful environment conducive to relaxation, we prioritize a serene experience, intended primarily for adults.
