LA MURE - LE GRAND VEYMONT

Located in the heart of the Vercors Regional Nature Park, close to the Hauts Plateaux reserve, this is an ideal location, 1h30 from Valence and Grenoble and 2h30 from Lyon. Just 2km from the center of the village of Vassieux-en-Vercors (on the D178 road between Vassieux and La Chapelle), summer or winter, you'll be spoilt for choice: cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, snowshoeing, dog sledding, biathlon, caving, canyoning, climbing, mountain biking, hiking, magnificent caves (Luire, Draye Blanche, Choranche), places of history and remembrance of the Vercors Resistance and maquis (memorial and museum) and local specialties: ravioles, Vercors blue cheese, trout, Clairette de Die, walnuts. Perfect for skiers: resorts of Font d'Urle (8km), Col de Rousset (12km), Herbouilly (25km) and 1h from Villard-de-Lans. All year round, the L'Affut Douillet and Le Grand Veymont gîtes are an ideal base camp for planning your excursions in a bubble of nature that will provide a change of scenery for young and old alike.

Corinne and Nicolas take over the reins and continue the family business, which has existed since the 90s and was once a guest house. The Le Grand Veymont gîte, as its name suggests, with a view of the highest point of the Vercors massif, is on the same level as the L'affut douillet gîte n°G364011. The layout is as follows. First floor: shared entrance with L'affut douillet, shared washing machine and private storage space for your ski equipment, toboggans, poles, snowshoes or boots. Upstairs (shared hallway with L'affut douillet): living room, 1 bedroom (choice of 2x80x200 or 1x160x200 bedding), bathroom/wc (shower size 80x80cm). Outside, on the garden level facing east from the house: space to share. The gîtes are located in a farmhouse adjoining 2 houses. Bikes and motorcycles can be stored in the garage on request.
