Just a few minutes away, the Valdaine valley offers numerous walks and bike trails, with its typical open Drôme landscapes. Hiking enthusiasts in particular can explore the Marsanne Forest, a vast wooded massif with several signposted trails and lovely views over the Montélimar plain. For more cultural outings, Montélimar (around 15 minutes away) is a must, with its lively town center, its terraces and, of course, artisanal nougat, the region's emblematic specialty. A little further afield, the hilltop village of Mirmande, listed as one of France's most beautiful villages, offers cobbled streets, artists' studios and splendid views over the Rhône valley.

Heritage enthusiasts can also discover Grignan, with its famous Renaissance château and summer festivals, or Le Poët-Laval, another listed medieval village, with its lanes steeped in history and timeless atmosphere. As for nature, the majestic Saou Forest, with its famous perched syncline, is an exceptional site for Hiking, climbing or simply immersing yourself in the spectacular scenery. Further on, the Crest tower, France's highest medieval keep, offers an impressive panorama of the entire valley.

Nestled on the edge of the Forest, La Maison d'Inès is a detached house offering a quiet, natural setting ideal for recharging your batteries. The gîte has private parking spaces, a garden and a terrace with garden furniture (accessed by a few steps). Entering directly from the terrace via the kitchen, the light-filled living room (30.38 m²) includes a lounge and dining area with sofa, bench and TV, with access to the outdoor terrace. The adjoining kitchen is fully equipped (oven, dishwasher, hood, refrigerator, etc.). The owner, a passionate antique dealer, has carefully selected every object and piece of furniture to create a charming atmosphere. The sleeping area comprises 3 bedrooms: 1 bedroom with bed 120x190 (11 m²) 1 bedroom with 2 beds 90x190 (10.97 m²) 1 bedroom with bed 140x190 (13.79 m²) Bathroom with shower, double washbasin and heated towel rail. Warm and functional Holiday cottage, ideal for families or groups. No WiFi, but very good 5G coverage.
