Laurent's remarkable renovation of this 19th-century silkworm farm into a gîte combines charm and authenticity to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. La Magnanerie des collines is an elegant, light-filled, open-plan duplex that can accommodate up to 6 people with children, but is ideal for 2 people. First floor: kitchen with central island, wc. First floor (east access to outside): 40m² multifunctional, air-conditioned room with queen-size bed 160x200cm, island bath to guarantee a well-deserved rest, 3-seater club sofa convertible to 140x200cm, thanks to its express conversion mechanism, attic mezzanine (2 beds 90x190 for extra use). Curtains are fitted to all 3 areas to ensure privacy. A 20m² wooden terrace, shaded by through-trees and with a lovely south-west view. The icing on the cake is the cellar on the first floor, where you can enjoy a refreshing wine tasting!

    Unique location!

    Beautifully renovated house at an absolute unique location! Very well equiped kitchen, comfortable bed and great views from a lovely terrace. In the neigbourhood enough hiking possibilities. By car you have lots of possibilities for visiting small beautiful villages such as Tournon-sur-Rhone, Beaurepaire and Romans-sur-Isere.

    A beautiful blend of old and new in a very tranqui

    We have stayed in gites for forty years and they have all been great in particular ways. But Larent has done a superb job of taking an old silkworm farm and turning it into a fabulous place to stay. It is in a beautiful, isolated setting with many opprtunities to walk nearby. There are also lovely places to visit and Larent's restaurant recommendations were excellent!

    Séjour Reposant

    Ce gîte est parfaitement aménagé et reste très frais en période de canicule.
    Sa situation nous a permis de visiter les principaux sites de la région.
    Enfin le calme de l'endroit est vraiment exceptionnel loin des agitations touristiques.
    Laurent, le propriétaire, est très accueillant et reste disponible pour toute demande.

    Quel plaisir de partager le temps des congés ce lieu oublié par l'urbanisation, presque loin de tout mais si proche de nous.
