Situated in the Drôme des Collines region, close to fields and in a peaceful setting, you'll appreciate this self-catering cottage for its independence, its large wooded grounds and its south-facing veranda, which is pleasant in autumn, spring and on sunny winter days. Epinouze, a commune at the gateway to the Drôme and Isère regions and not far from the Ardèche, has a built heritage worth discovering: the Palais Idéal du facteur Cheval is just one example (20min away). Local know-how is also top-notch, with factory outlets for brands such as Jars, Lafuma and Revol, as is gastronomy (AOC Saint Joseph, poire de la Valloire, ravioles...). There are also plenty of sports, leisure and family activities on offer: hiking, swimming (Lac de Champos), Via'Rhôna for cycling... Tain l'Hermitage (with its Val Rhôna chocolate town and hillside vineyards) is 35 minutes from the gîte, as is the Peaugres Safari.
