Between two contrasting landforms - the gentle undulations of the Ardèche verte and the sharper lines of the Vercors - there's a place you don't cross by chance. The Domaine des Cigales discreetly stretches over two hectares where meadows and undergrowth share the silence. As soon as you arrive, Annick and Thierry open the door as you would a friend. A handshake, a smile, sometimes a smell from the kitchen... and your stay begins effortlessly. In the evening, their table d'hôtes becomes a convivial moment, made of simple products and local recipes. In the morning, there's no hurry. Breakfast is served in the dining room or on the terrace, with everything you need to get the day off to a good start, while the light glides over the trees in the park. Afterwards, you might decide to take a walk to the orchard, pick a few wild strawberries in fine weather, or go in search of mushrooms when the earth gets wetter. Here, the seasons set the tone: on this environmentally-friendly property, energy comes from the sun, gestures are measured, and every detail tells of a different, simpler and more coherent way of living. If you're curious, you can even watch milking at the neighboring farm. And then there's that moment you keep to yourself: a thirty-minute interlude at the Spa, where the body relaxes while the mind escapes. All around, the Drôme des Collines unfolds its paths and discoveries. From the surprising Palais Idéal du facteur Cheval, to the Revol porcelain factory in Saint-Uze, the ViaRhôna bicycle trail, Côtes du Rhône wines and Valrhona chocolate in Tain-l'Hermitage.
The bed and breakfast offers two rooms: the Cerise room for 2 people and the Bleuet/Lotus family room for 2 to 4 people.
