Close to the Cantal mountains, Puy Violent and Puy Mary, this region is ideal for hiking. You can also enjoy cross-country skiing and snowshoeing at the Col de Légal ski resort, fishing (Doire and Bertrande rivers, Crandelles lake nearby) and swimming at the Saint-Etienne Cantalès and Enchanet lakes.
