Nestled in the heart of the summer pastures of the Cantal Mountains, you can enjoy hiking and fishing right on the property. At the foot of Puy Mary, you can explore the glacial valleys that flow from it (the Mars, Impradine, Santoire, Maronne, Aspre, Bertrande, Jordanne, and Petite Rhue valleys). In all seasons, you can explore our surroundings on foot, by bike, on snowshoes, on skis, and by paraglider. Swimming is also an option, with numerous lakes (Trizac, Lastioulles) and lakes. You’ll visit Salers, listed as one of the Most Beautiful Villages of France, Menet, designated a “Petite Cité de Caractère,” the Château d’Auzers, the ruins of the Château d’Apchon, and our Romanesque churches... Finally, you’ll discover our local cuisine through our many local producers and Restaurants that know how to showcase it.
Located in a secluded, idyllic setting, this former hemp mill, bordered by a canal, is accessible via a 200-meter-long driveway. It features an unfenced 3,000 m² property along the Sumène River, private parking, a pétanque court, a terrace with outdoor furniture, lounge chairs, and a gas barbecue with a plancha.
On the ground floor, you’ll find a large living area with a fully equipped kitchenette and a living room featuring a fireplace with a wood-burning stove (free firewood), a smart flat-screen TV, a DVD player, and internet access, a relaxation area with one extra bed 80x190 cm, a laundry room, and a separate half-bath. On the first floor, there is one bedroom with a 160x200 cm bed and a semi-open private bathroom, one bedroom with two 90x200 cm beds that can be converted into one 180x200 cm bed, featuring a semi-open private bathroom, and a separate toilet. Beds are made on arrival, and bathroom linen is provided. Electric heating included. Rates are all inclusive.
