In the Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d'Auvergne, this former flour mill dating from 1839 has been completely renovated and welcomes you to its peaceful setting on the banks of the Sumène river.

Completely renovated in 2020 in keeping with traditional styles (slate roof, exposed stonework, and preservation of the mill’s original features), this holiday cottage offers all the comfort you need for rest and wellbeing thanks to its modern, bright interior.
At the foot of the mountain pastures, you can enjoy hiking and Fishing right on the spot. At the foot of Puy Mary, you can explore the glacial valleys that flow from it (the Mars, Impradine, and Santoire valleys; the Maronne, Aspre, and Bertrande valleys; and the Jordanne and Petite Rhue valleys). In all seasons, you can explore our surroundings on foot, on snowshoes, on skis, and even by paraglider. You’ll also have the opportunity to discover the area by bike, with electric mountain bike rentals available 7 km away in Trizac. Swimming is also an option, with numerous lakes (Trizac, Lastioulles) and lakes. You’ll enjoy our cultural tours, including Salers—listed as one of the Most Beautiful Villages of France—Menet, designated a “Petite Cité de Caractère,” the Château d’Auzers, the ruins of the Château d’Apchon, and our Romanesque churches... Finally, you’ll discover our local cuisine through our many local producers and Restaurants that know how to showcase it.
Located in a secluded spot and accessible via a 200-meter-long driveway, this holiday cottage features a semi-enclosed yard with a south-facing waterfront terrace, a carport, and a pétanque court. Idyllic surroundings with trails, riverbanks, a boulder, a wooden footbridge, and a stone bridge.
On the ground floor: living room with a wood-burning stove (free firewood), flat-screen TV, and internet access; fully equipped kitchenette; separate restroom with laundry area. Upstairs, 1 bedroom with 1 160x200 cm bed, 1 bedroom with 2 90x200 cm beds that can be joined to form 1 180x200 cm bed (beds made on arrival), shower room (bathroom linen provided), separate toilet. Electric heating included. Rates include all utilities.
