Nestled on a mountainside at the foot of Puy Violent, this single-storey Holiday cottage, converted from an old barn, welcomes you to a small hamlet in the heart of the summer pastures of the Monts du Cantal.
Set in exceptional surroundings, 5 km from the medieval village of Salers, you can discover the wide-open spaces of the Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d'Auvergne, enjoy Hiking (Puy Mary, Puy Violent, Puy Chavaroche nearby), Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing at the Col de Légal ski resort and the Falgoux cross-country skiing center, and fishing (La Maronne 1.5 km away). You can also visit the villages of Salers and Tournemire, classified as the Most Beautiful Villages in France, and the châteaux of Trémolière, Saint Chamant and Anjony.
This detached house has 800 m² of enclosed grounds with private parking and portico, and a terrace with garden furniture, barbecue and deckchairs. Living room with fireplace (pellet stove, 1 bag free then €6 per bag), flat-screen TV and fiber-optic internet access, fully-equipped kitchenette, 1 bedroom with 1 double bed, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, shower room, separate toilet. Bed linen provided with beds made on arrival. Electric heating according to consumption from October to April. All-inclusive rates from May to September. One pet welcome free of charge, for the second €20 supplement per stay to be paid on site.
