Nestled on a mountainside at the foot of Puy Violent, this single-storey Holiday cottage, converted from an old barn, welcomes you to a small hamlet in the heart of the summer pastures of the Monts du Cantal.
Set in exceptional surroundings, 5 km from the medieval village of Salers, you can discover the wide-open spaces of the Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d'Auvergne, enjoy Hiking (Puy Mary, Puy Violent, Puy Chavaroche nearby), Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing at the Col de Légal ski resort and the Falgoux cross-country skiing center, and fishing (La Maronne 1.5 km away). You can also visit the villages of Salers and Tournemire, classified as the Most Beautiful Villages in France, and the châteaux of Trémolière, Saint Chamant and Anjony.
This detached house has 800 m² of enclosed grounds with private parking and portico, and a terrace with garden furniture, barbecue and deckchairs. Living room with fireplace (pellet stove, 1 bag free then €6 per bag), flat-screen TV and fiber-optic internet access, fully-equipped kitchenette, 1 bedroom with 1 double bed, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, shower room, separate toilet. Bed linen provided with beds made on arrival. Electric heating according to consumption from October to April. All-inclusive rates from May to September. One pet welcome free of charge, for the second €20 supplement per stay to be paid on site.

Les nancéens une excellente semaine
Un excellent accueil des propriétaires, charmants, toujours disponibles et de bons conseils. Le gite est super, confortable, tout équipé et tout est quasiment neuf et fonctionnel, c'est le TOP. L'endroit est calme, paisible, c'est l'idéal pour se ressourcer. La région est magnifique avec des villages pittoresques pour les visites et de belles randonnées à faire. la route était en travaux (pas malin de faire ça en plein juillet !!!) , elle sera donc toute neuve pour les futurs occupants qui peuvent venir les yeux fermés. Un grand merci.

Michmich Super gite ,propre, calme
Séjour agréable, pleins de ballades sans les chiens, cela est juste dommage.
Région superbe tres calme ,attention aux petites routes mais en tres bon état

Les P'tiots Picards Lieu de ressouces
L'Oustal est un lieu où il est bon se ressourcer , être en lien avec la nature et vivre un dépaysement total , c'est ce que nous recherchions et nous l'avons trouvé.
Le Gîte est très bien agencé,accueillant, chaleureux, tout est parfait. A découvrir sans hésiter!
Les propriétaires , Chantal & Claude sont charmants,de bons conseils, disponibles , à l'écoute et bienveillants.
Nous reviendrons l'an prochain, plutôt sur deux semaines, car une semaine , c'est trop court pour visiter, se balader et découvrir tout ce qui s'offre à nous!
