Nestled in a small mid-mountain village 10 km from the medieval town of Salers in the heart of the Monts du Cantal, this fully-renovated detached character house dating from 1771 welcomes you to a quiet, unspoilt setting, where you can discover the wide-open spaces, flora and fauna of the Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d'Auvergne and the Grand Site National du Puy Mary. The region is ideal for outdoor activities: horseback riding and lessons at Saint Martin Valmeroux, 1.5 km away, Hiking (GR400, GR4, Puy Violent, Puy Chavaroche...), Fishing (the Maronne and Bertrande rivers nearby), Nordic activities at the Col de Légal station (Cross-country skiing, snowshoeing...) and mountain biking. You can also discover the wealth of the built heritage by visiting the villages of Salers and Tournemire, classified as the Most Beautiful Villages in France, and the castles of St Chamant, Anjony and La Trémolière.
