Located at the gateway to the Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d'Auvergne and close to Salers and Tournemire, classified as the Most Beautiful Villages in France, this character house, completely renovated in 2016, adjoining the owners' house, welcomes you to spend pleasant moments.
Nearby attractions include the castles of Saint-Chamant, Cambon and Anjony, the medieval towns of Salers and Tournemire, and the Col de Légal ski resort (cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and departure point for numerous hikes to Puy Chavaroche and Puy Mary).
Enclosed courtyard with garden furniture and deckchairs. First floor: living room with 1 single bed, flat-screen TV, wifi internet access, dining room with built-in kitchenette, shower room with toilet (towels and table linen provided free of charge). On 1st floor, 1 mezzanine bedroom with 1 double bed (bed made on arrival). Oil-fired central heating included, all charges included.

L'accueil a été très sympathique. Le gîte est bien situé et nous a permis de découvrir Salers et ses environs. De nombreuses randonnées et activités possibles.

Soazig Excellent et charmant gîte, super accueil !
Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour ! Les propriétaires, qui habitent la maison mitoyenne, sont très gentils et discrets. Ils ont même accepté de nous amener à Mauriac pour récupérer notre voiture en panne. Encore un immense merci à eux !
Le gîte est plutôt grand pour 2 personnes, très bien agencé et décoré. Il est également parfaitement équipé en vaisselle et électroménager.
Il est à 3 kms du village de Saint Cernin où on peut trouver une épicerie très bien achalandée, qui fait également dépôt de pain. Il y a aussi une très bonne boucherie et une boulangerie.
Enfin le gîte est à mi chemin entre Aurillac et Mauriac, à quelques kilomètres du village de Tournemire et du château d'Anjony, et à une vingtaine de kms de Salers, magnifique. La vue depuis le gîte est également très belle et reposante.
En résumé, et malgré un temps maussade, nous avons passé une belle semaine dans ce joli gîte du Cantal !- Cleanliness
