Nestled in a verdant setting on the banks of a stream, this detached character house welcomes you to a small, secluded hamlet in a peaceful, relaxing environment.
Nearby, you can discover the rich local heritage by visiting the historic town center of Aurillac, the medieval towns of Vic sur Cère and Murat, the villages of Salers and Tournemire, classified as the Most Beautiful Villages in France, and the many castles and Romanesque churches in the region. The area is also ideal for outdoor activities: hiking in the Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d'Auvergne, discovering the Grand Site National du Puy Mary and the Gorges de la Jordanne, and swimming and water sports at the Lac de Saint-Etienne Cantalès.
Accessible via a 100m carriage road, the gîte is located at the end of a traffic-free cul-de-sac. It benefits from an unfenced plot of 1500m² with an old bread oven, private parking and storage space for bikes and motorcycles. There's also a terrace with garden furniture, deckchairs and barbecue.
First floor: fitted kitchenette, living room with fireplace and wood-burning stove (free wood), flat-screen TV and Internet access, sitting room with access to the terrace, bedroom with 1 x 160x200 bed, shower room and separate toilet. On the 1st floor, a bedroom with 1 double bed and a dressing room, a bedroom with 1 double bed 160X200 and an independent WC. There's also a bathroom and an extra toilet in the basement. Beds will be made up on arrival and towels provided. Heating and hot water production by heat pump included. Rates include all charges. Cleaning deposit 70€.
