Situated 4 km from the medieval town of Murat and 8 km from the Col de Prat de Bouc, a family ski resort, you're close to many Hiking trails (GR 465, GR 4...). This region, in the heart of the Auvergne Volcanoes Natural Park, is ideal for discovering a host of sites: the Cantal lead and Puy Mary, the Super Lioran with its many ski slopes and related activities, Saint-Flour and its basalt organs, Chaudes-Aigues with its hot springs, the Garabit viaduct, the medieval town of Salers, the Romanesque church of BREDONS and the collegiate church of MURAT. In summer, you can watch a herd of Salers cattle ringing their bells, and in winter and autumn, hinds, deer and mouflons from the Holiday cottage. You can recharge your batteries with nature, where waterfalls await you in woods planted with majestic fir trees. In spring, the ridge hiking trails offer exceptional flora and 360° views. Fishing enthusiasts can tease trout in the waters of the Alagnon or its tributaries.
This character house, semi-detached with another Holiday cottage (n°353), has 700m² of enclosed grounds equipped with garden furniture, a barbecue, deckchairs and a small veranda. There's also bike storage and private parking. Ground floor: fitted kitchenette, spacious, bright living room with flat-screen TV, bedroom with 1 x 160x200 bed, shower room, separate toilet and laundry room. On the 1st floor, a bedroom with 2 beds 90X200 that can be converted into 1 bed 180X200 (bed linen provided). Wood pellet central heating included. Electricity according to consumption. Wired internet access only in ground-floor bedroom.
