Located 4 km from the medieval town of Murat and 8 km from the Prat de Bouc Pass, a family-friendly Ski resort, you’ll be close to hiking trails (GR 465, GR 4…). This region, in the heart of the Auvergne Volcanoes Natural Park, is ideal for exploring numerous sites: the Plomb du Cantal and Puy Mary, Super Lioran with its many Ski slopes and related activities, Saint-Flour and its basalt columns, Chaudes-Aigues with its hot spring, the Garabit Viaduct, the medieval town of Salers, the Romanesque church of Bredons, and the collegiate church of Murat. In the summer, you can admire a lovely herd of Salers cattle as they ring their bells; in the winter and fall, you can spot does, stags, and mouflons right from the holiday cottage. You can recharge your batteries in nature, where waterfalls await you in woods filled with majestic fir trees. In the spring, the hiking trails along the ridges offer exceptional flora and a 360° view. Fishing enthusiasts can try their hand at catching trout in the waters of the Alagnon River or its tributaries.
This charming semi-detached house, adjoining another holiday cottage (No. 353), features a 700m² fenced-in yard equipped with patio furniture, a barbecue, lounge chairs, and a small veranda. You’ll have access to a storage area for bicycles and a private parking space. On the ground floor, there is a fully equipped kitchenette, a spacious and bright living room with a flat-screen TV, a bedroom with one 160x200 bed, a bathroom, a separate toilet, and a laundry room. On the first floor, there is a bedroom with two 90x200 beds that can be combined into one 180x200 bed (bed linen provided for this bed) and a separate toilet. Wood pellet central heating included. Electricity charged based on usage. Internet access is available via wired connection only in the ground-floor bedroom.
