Located at the gateway to the Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d'Auvergne and 18 km from Salers, this fully-renovated 1882 character house adjoining a second home welcomes you to a quiet setting in the heart of a small mid-mountain village.
Nearby, you can discover the castles of Saint-Chamant, Cambon and Anjony, the villages of Salers and Tournemire (classified as the Most Beautiful Villages in France), the Col de Légal resort (cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, dog-sledding) and hiking (Puy Violent, Puy Chavaroche and Grand Site National du Puy Mary).
This detached house, entirely renovated in 2017, benefits from a 1000 m² unfenced plot with terrace, garden furniture, deckchairs and portico. First floor: fitted kitchenette, spacious living room with fireplace (free wood-burning stove) and flat-screen TV, 1 bedroom with 1 double bed, shower room with closed toilet. 1st floor: 1 bedroom with 1 x 2-person bed, 1 bedroom with 1 x 130-person bed and 1 x 1-person bed, separate toilet with washbasin. Salers Cantal
Très beau séjour dans le cantal comme d’habitude ,malgré la météo un peu capricieuse .Une belle région à visiter et nous conseillons ce gîte parfait au calme et sécurisé pour les enfants ! Nous y retournerons l’année prochaine si tout va bien !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Saint Chamant et cela en très grande partie grâce au propriétaire du gîte qui a su nous accueillir parfaitement. Le gîte en lui-même est très bien aménagé, fonctionnel, avec tout l'équipement nécessaire à disposition. Le gîte est très bien situé : un petit resto (très bon) et une petit épicerie/ dépôt de pain dans le village, n'hésitez pas découvrir les producteurs dans les alentours. Nous sommes proches de Salers et du Puy Mary. Une adresse que je recommande fortement !
