Nestled in a small village 800 m above sea level, 10 km from the medieval town of Salers, this house adjoins another gîte and a small village hall (occasionally rented out) in the heart of the Monts du Cantal.
Nearby, you can discover the wide-open spaces, fauna and flora of the Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d'Auvergne and the Grand Site National du Puy Mary. The region is ideal for outdoor activities: hiking (GR400, GR4, Puy Violent, Puy Chavaroche...), fishing (the Maronne and Bertrande rivers nearby), Nordic activities at the Col de Légal station (cross-country skiing, snowshoeing...) and mountain biking. You can also discover the rich architectural heritage of the villages of Salers and Tournemire, classified as the Most Beautiful Villages in France, and the castles of St Chamant, Anjony and La Trémolière.
This gîte has 700m² of private, unfenced grounds with garden furniture, barbecue and deckchairs. First floor: living room with wood-burning stove (free wood), flat-screen TV and DVD player, dining room with fitted kitchenette, 1 bedroom with 1 x 160x200 bed, 1 shower room with WC and 1 separate WC. On 1st floor, 1 bedroom with 1 bed 160X200, 1 bedroom with 3 single beds, 1 bedroom with 1 single bed, 1 small baby room (equipment available), 1 bathroom with WC and 1 small play area. Electric heating included. All charges included. Cleaning deposit €100.
