Situated 3.5 km from Riom-es-Montagnes in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d'Auvergne, this gîte welcomes you to a quiet hamlet in pleasant surroundings.
Nearby activities include hiking in the Cantal mountains and the Sancy massif, swimming in the Lastioulles and Bort-les-Orgues lakes, fishing in the Roussillou and Menet lakes and in the Rhue gorges. You can also discover the village of Menet, classified as a "Petite Cité de Caractère", the town of Riom-es-Montagnes, the Gentiane Express tourist train and the Marilhou waterfall.
This semi-detached house has 500 m² of unenclosed land to the rear and a terrace with garden furniture, parasol, lounge chairs and barbecue.
First floor: living room with fireplace and wood-burning stove (free wood), fully-equipped kitchenette, 1 bedroom with 1 double bed and en-suite shower room, laundry room, separate toilet. Upstairs, 1 bedroom with 1 x 160x200 bed, 1 bedroom with 2 x 80x200 beds that can be twinned into 160x200, sitting area with flat-screen TV, DVD player and library, bathroom with toilet. Beds made up on arrival. Linen provided. End-of-stay cleaning included. Oil-fired central heating included. Rates include all charges.
Parking and petanque area at the entrance to the hamlet. Wellness area 50 m from the gîte with 4-person sauna, shower, toilet and changing room. Access on reservation with the owner from 14/10/23 to 27/04/2024 with supplement of 70€ for a 1h30 session (4 people maximum).
Possibility of storage room for bikes or equipment on request. Non-smoking gîte. Half-day and/or full-day tours led by local guides (fluent in English) to discover the region's natural beauty, architectural heritage, local craftsmen and regional gastronomy.
