Nestled in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d'Auvergne, this detached 19th-century character house welcomes you to a peaceful, natural setting with a breathtaking view of the Rhue forest massif.
Take advantage of the peaceful surroundings and the many activities on offer in the area: hiking in the heart of the Cantal mountains or in the Sancy massif, fishing and swimming at Lac de Lastioulles, fishing also possible at the Essarts dam, Lac de Bort-les-Orgues, cross-country skiing at Montgreleix and Marcenat, cross-country skiing in Montgreleix and Marcenat, downhill skiing in Super-Besse, discover the Saillant waterfall in Marcenat, the Veyrines waterfall, the village of Allanche, the medieval town of Murat, discover the Cézallier by velorail and take a ride on the Gentiane Express.
The gîte has an unfenced plot of 500 m² with garden furniture and barbecue. First floor: living room with flat-screen TV, fireplace (free wood burner), fitted kitchenette, shower room, separate toilet. Upstairs, 2 bedrooms with 1 double bed, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds. Electric heating according to consumption.

Kate A stunning and peaceful location
We loved this solid old farmhouse halfway up the hillside where the only sound was the ringing of cow bells from the valley. It was generally comfortable and well equipped, although better lights for reading downstairs would have been appreciated. The welcome package of local cheese and sausage was most welcome and we enjoyed the antics of the visiting family of cats in the evenings.

Séjour très agréable dans un gîte isolé mais au combien agréable. Le temps n’était pas de la partie . Nous reviendrons avec plaisir. De très beaux villages et sites à proximité. Propriétaire aux petits soins … merci pour spécialité a l accueil.

Calme et sérénité pour notre séjour dans le cantal
Le gîte est agréable et correspondait à notre attente pour les vacances.C'est le 'gite du bout du monde ideal pour se ressourcer loin des tracas du quotidien!
