Nous avons passé 8 jour dans cette grande maison atypique et pleine de charme
Tout a été parfait: de l’accueil du propriétaire, à l’équipement de la maison, à sa propreté et à sa situation au calme mais à proximité du village.
Bien que la météo a été au beau fixe, il ne faisait pas assez chaud pour se baigner donc nous n’avons pas utilisé la piscine.
Lorsque nous reviendrons dans la région, il ne faut aucun doute que nous y retournerons- Cleanliness

Il y a tant à dire ! Tout d'abord notre hôte : très gentil, accueillant, prévenant, aux petits soins pour ses locataires et en même temps d'une grande discrétion.
Ensuite l'endroit : calme et reposant, au milieu des bois. Puis le gîte : spacieux, décoration magnifique, équipé de tout ce qu'il faut, douillet et cosy, literie confortable, très bien chauffé...- Cleanliness

Gérard Très bon gîte bien equipé
Gite bien equipé , rempli de bouquins et d’œuvres d’art . Claude le propriétaire qui réside à côté était à nos petits soins : formidable ! Le gîte est vaste , bon couchage cuisine bien equippée. Une petite flambée le soir … tout est prévu . Claude nous a même fourni le barbecue et le charbon pour faire cuire les magrets . Je recommande !! Merci claude !

Excellent séjour au milieu de la nature pour recharger les batteries. Nous avons passé un agréable moment dans ce gîte. Le logement est propre, bien équipé et conforme à sa description. L'environnement est calme et reposant. Claude est un hôte accueillant, disponible, tout en restant discret. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les petites attentions à notre arrivée, ainsi que les conseils pour découvrir les alentours. Un séjour réussi que nous recommandons sans hésiter !

Tom Simply wonderful
The house was absolutely wonderful - obviously deeply personal to Claude, the owner, and decorated to his tastes. The pool was brilliant - deeper than it looks in the pictures and warm enough to go in at any time of day, but cool enough to help avoid overheating in 30C+! We spent most of our time outside to enjoy the weather, but inside it was cool at night and we had no issues sleeping.
This was our first time in the Cantal, and it is a beautiful region - we visited castles, went up Puy Mary (cannot recommend enough if you don't mind heights), and enjoyed the local towns and villages. Local produce is excellent, and there is so much to do we couldn't fit in a fraction of it in one week.
Last words are for Claude - an absolutely lovely gentleman who showed us around the house when we arrived; presented us with local cheeses, cured sausages and wine; cleaned the pool early every morning; and was genuinely interested in what we were doing and where we were going when we left. I only wish my French was better so we could have had longer conversations!
