Its location on a plateau offers magnificent views over the neighboring valleys and the Cantal mountains in the distance.
Nearby activities include canoeing and kayaking at Vieillevie, exploring the Truyère and Jordanne gorges, hiking at the Grand Site National du Puy Mary or on the Route de Saint-Jacques de Compostelle (GR465), visiting Conques and Marcolès, classified as France's Most Beautiful Villages, and Petites Cités de Caractère (small towns) such as Montsalvy. An artist has settled in the hamlet. Her exhibition can be visited on request, and she offers introductory or advanced courses in clay modeling, stone sculpture and "récup'art" welding, on a full- or half-day basis.
