Nestled in a small mountain hamlet in the heart of the wooded Bois Noir cirque, this detached character house welcomes you to a privileged natural setting.
Situated at the foot of Puy Chavaroche, this region is ideal for discovering the mountain flora and fauna, and for hiking (GR4, GR400, Puy Violent, Puy Mary, Col de Légal and Col de Saint-Georges nearby). You can also discover the region's built heritage by visiting the medieval town of Fontanges, the villages of Salers and Tournemire classified as Plus Beaux Villages de France, and the castles of Anjony, Saint-Chamant and Trémolière.
Accessible via a 200 m carriage road, this gîte has 600 m² of semi-enclosed grounds with a gantry, private parking and a terrace with garden furniture, barbecue and deckchairs.
First floor: integrated kitchenette, living room with dining area, bathroom with toilet. On the 1st floor, sitting area with flat-screen TV and stereo, 1 bedroom with 1 x 160cm bed and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds (beds made up on arrival). Baby equipment available. Electric central heating according to consumption. Weekend rentals available for La Pastourelle only.
Grocery store in Fontanges 11 km away. Shops and services in Saint-Martin Valmeroux 18 km.

Nous avons passé une semaine formidable en famille fin août dans un gîte magnifique, tout confort. Les propriétaires nous ont accueillis comme les membres de leur famille, d' une très grande gentillesse et plein de bonnes attentions. Le gîte est idéalement situé avec beaucoup de visites à faire aux alentours.
Je recommande les yeux fermés ce super gite, cette région ainsi que l accueil des propriétaires.

JP&M Notre séjour à La Chrysalide (Aôut 2025)
Le gîte est situé dans un cadre verdoyant et un environnement paisible, idéal pour se reposer après des randonnées partant au pas de la porte. Logement bien équipé, au calme, dans un cadre naturel magnifique, agrémenté du carillonnement des cloches de vaches !
Accueil d'une grande gentillesse, nous avons eu de très bon conseils pour découvrir le Pays de Salers. Nos hôtes ont été très attentionnés. Nous avons trouvé de quoi nous régaler après un long trajet...
Boulangerie à proximité, pain excellent à la Bastide. On peut y aller à pieds.
Nous avons passé une excellente semaine.

l'accueil était chaleureux , parfait. La Chrysalide est très bien équipée, au calme total si ce n'est le tintement des cloches des vaches!
