Nestled between the Cantal mountains, the Dordogne gorges and the Sancy massif, this independent house of character from 1811, completely renovated in 2022, welcomes you in a calm and preserved environment. It combines the old-world charm of exposed stones and beams with a more contemporary atmosphere. You will have a private above-ground swimming pool measuring 4.36m x 3.35m open from June 1 to September 28, 2024, secured by a bar cover and an alarm.
Located at the crossroads of Cantal, Corrèze and Puy-de-Dôme, this region will allow you to practice outdoor activities: hiking (many marked paths in Sumène-Artense, Puy Mary, Puy de Sancy.... ), water activities and fishing at the lakes of Bort les Orgues and Lastioulles, cycling (green trail and mountain bike trails nearby) and skiing (Chastreix-Sancy resort 45 minutes away, Mont Dore 50 minutes away and Lioran at 1 hour).

You can also discover the richness of the regional built heritage by visiting the castles of Val, Auzers and La Trémolière, and the villages of Salers and Tournemire, classified as the Most Beautiful Villages of France.
This gîte benefits from open land on which there is a shelter in which you can store your bikes and private parking. You can relax on the covered terrace equipped with garden furniture, deck chairs and a gas plancha. On the ground floor, fitted kitchen area, living room with fireplace equipped with a stove (free wood), flat screen TV and internet access, bathroom with WC. Upstairs, a bedroom with 1 160X200 bed, a bedroom with 2 single beds and 1 separate toilet. Electric heating included. Prices all charges included. Beds made on arrival and linens provided.
