Nestled between the Cantal mountains, the Dordogne gorges and the Sancy massif, this detached character house dating from 1811 and fully renovated in 2022 welcomes you to a quiet, unspoilt setting. It combines the old-world charm of stonework and exposed beams with a more contemporary feel. The private 4.36m x 3.35m above-ground swimming pool is open from June 1 to September 26, 2026, and is secured by a bar cover and alarm.
Situated at the crossroads of the Cantal, Corrèze and Puy-de-Dôme departments, this region is ideal for outdoor activities: Hiking (numerous marked trails in Sumène-Artense, Puy Mary, Puy de Sancy....), water sports and fishing at the Bort les Orgues and Lastioulles lakes, cycling (green trails and mountain bike paths nearby) and skiing (Chastreix-Sancy resort 45 minutes away, Mont Dore 50 minutes and Le Lioran 1 hour).

You can also discover the region's rich architectural heritage by visiting the châteaux of Val, Auzers and Trémolière, and the villages of Salers and Tournemire, classified as the Most Beautiful Villages in France.
This Holiday cottage benefits from an unfenced plot with a bicycle shed and private parking. You can relax on the covered terrace, equipped with garden furniture, deckchairs and a gas plancha. First floor: fitted kitchenette, living room with fireplace and wood-burning stove (free wood), flat-screen TV and Internet access, shower room with toilet. Upstairs, one bedroom with 1 x 160x200 bed, one bedroom with 2 single beds and 1 separate WC. Electric heating included. All-inclusive rates. Beds made on arrival and linen supplied.
