Situated in a pleasant little hamlet, just 13km from the medieval town of Salers, this former 19th-century farmhouse, completely renovated in 2017, elegantly combines the charm of stone with contemporary comfort.
In the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d'Auvergne, this region is ideal for Hiking (GR4, GR400, Grand Site National du Puy Mary, Puy Chavaroche nearby) and for discovering mountain flora and fauna.
You can also visit traditional local architecture with Romanesque churches, the medieval town of Fontanges, the Plus Beaux Villages de France of Salers and Tournemire, and the castles of Anjony and Saint-Chamant.
It's the perfect place to discover the volcanic landscapes, unspoilt nature and exceptional heritage of the Cantal.
There's a plot of land in front of the house with garden furniture and barbecue. Parking is available 50 m from the Holiday cottage, in the hamlet.
On the first floor, you'll find a large, bright and inviting living room with a traditional inglenook fireplace equipped with a pellet stove (one bag offered, then €5 per bag), a fully-equipped kitchenette, a sitting area with flat-screen TV, hi-fi system and DVD player, a shower room with large shower and washing machine and a separate toilet.
Upstairs, three south-facing bedrooms offer a beautiful view over the valley: one with three single beds, one with two single beds and a connecting bedroom with a double bed.
For your convenience, WIFI access and a computer are available, as well as baby equipment on request. Electric heating according to consumption. Cleaning deposit €70.
