In the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d'Auvergne and 13 km from the village of Salers, classified as one of France's Most Beautiful Villages, this character house dating from 1836 has been completely renovated to combine modern comfort with the charm of yesteryear. Adjoining a second home and accessible by a few steps, it offers a warm and authentic atmosphere, ideal for nature and Hiking enthusiasts.
The Holiday cottage is close to Puy Chavaroche, Puy Violent and Puy Mary, classified as a Grand Site National. The medieval towns of Salers and Tournemire, as well as the castles of Anjony and Saint-Chamant, are also within easy reach.
You'll enjoy a terrace with garden furniture, deckchairs, parasol and barbecue, a small plot of land and a storage room with washing machine and dryer, ideal for storing your equipment or bicycles. Parking is available 100 m from the Holiday cottage, in the hamlet.
On the first floor, you'll find a large living room with a traditional inglenook fireplace equipped with a pellet stove (one bag free, then €5 per bag), as well as a fully-equipped kitchenette: induction hob, pyrolysis oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, Senseo coffee machine, kettle and toaster. The living room, with its corner sofa, flat-screen TV, hi-fi system, DVD player and board games, invites you to relax with your family.
Upstairs, the master bedroom features a double bed and storage space, while the second bedroom offers bunk beds (2 x 90x190 cm) with pull-out trundle (90x180 cm) that can accommodate an additional child on request. The spacious bathroom includes shower, washbasin, WC, towel dryer and hairdryer.
