Situated on the edge of a wood in the heart of the Cantalien Châtaigneraie, this fully-renovated 1880 detached character house, decorated with care and attention to detail, welcomes you to a restful environment.
On the border of the Lot and Cantal départements, you can enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities: hiking (PR on site, Monts du Cantal, Lot valley...), fishing (communal pond 500m away), swimming and water sports at the Tolerme and Saint-Etienne Cantalès lakes. You can also discover the medieval towns of Laroquebrou and Maurs, the villages of Autoire, Conques, Salers and Tournemire, classified as the Most Beautiful Villages in France, and the sites of Rocamadour and Padirac.
This gîte has a large plot with private parking, garden furniture, barbecue, deckchairs and 4 bicycles.
In the basement, you'll find a large storage room for bikes and motorcycles, a laundry area with washing machine and a separate toilet.
On the 1st floor, the house has a spacious living room with wood-burning stove (free wood) and flat-screen TV, a fully-equipped kitchenette, and a shower room with toilet. On the 2nd floor, there are 2 bedrooms with 1 double bed and 1 bedroom with 1 single bed. Beds will be made up on arrival. Electric heating according to consumption.
