You can also go hiking in the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Natural Park and visit Vulcania and the Château de Val. Nestled between the Cantal mountains and the Sancy massif, in winter, you can practice cross-country skiing and downhill skiing less than 30 minutes from the gîte.
