Nestled in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d'Auvergne and 10 minutes from the Super-Lioran ski resort, this house renovated in 2024, adjoining the owners' house, welcomes you to a small mid-mountain hamlet at an altitude of 1130 meters.
You can go hiking (GR 400 on site), discover the Monts du Cantal, the Grand Site National du Puy Mary, the Garabit viaduct, numerous waterfalls, the Alagnon gorges, and take advantage of the winter and summer resorts of Le Lioran (cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, snowshoeing, dog sledding, ice skating, accrobranche, mountain biking...). There's also a swimming pool open in summer, and a fishing lake at Laveissière, just 3 km away. You can discover the medieval towns of Vic-sur-Cère, Murat and Saint-Flour, visit numerous castles and the spa town of Chaudes-Aigues...
This gîte has 120 m² of enclosed grounds with a terrace equipped with garden furniture, 4 deckchairs and a gas barbecue. Enjoy the magnificent view over the valley. Private parking next to the gîte.
First floor: large living room with fully-equipped open-plan kitchen, sofa bed, flat-screen TV, fiber-optic Internet access, separate toilet, laundry room with washing machine and dryer. Cot and highchair available.
On the 1st floor, one bedroom with 1 bed 160x200 and private shower room, one bedroom with 2 twin beds 80 in 160, one bedroom with 1 double bed, large bathroom with bath and shower, separate toilet. Beds made up on arrival and towels provided. Wood-fired central heating included (underfloor heating on both levels). Rates include all charges. Gîte run as an agriturismo by the owners, who breed Salers cows, with the possibility of visiting the farm, particularly during the winter.
