Situated near the lake at Bort-les-Orgues, between the Sancy massif and the Cantal mountains, this gîte welcomes you to a peaceful setting.
Nestled in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d'Auvergne, the area is ideal for hiking (Puy de Sancy, Lac Pavin, Lac Chauvet, Monts Dore, Puy Mary and Gorges de la Dordogne nearby), water sports and swimming (Lac de Bort les Orgues, Siauve and Val beaches). You can also ski at the Super-Besse ski resort and discover the Cantalien architectural heritage (Val and Auzers castles).
This gîte is on the 1st floor, with its own entrance, of the owner's second home, built in 1892. It benefits from a large, semi-enclosed private plot with garden furniture, deckchairs and a portico. Kitchenette, living room with stove (free wood), flat-screen TV and stereo, 1 bedroom with 1 double bed, mezzanine with 1 double bed and 1 single bed, shower room, separate toilet. Electric heating included. Rates include all utilities. Pet supplement 10€/week/pet.
