In the heart of the Santoire valley and at the foot of Puy Mary, 15 km from the medieval town of Murat, this fully-renovated 1851 detached house welcomes you to a small mountain hamlet.
This region is ideal for a wide range of outdoor activities: Hiking (starting from the Holiday cottage), fishing (on the Santoire opposite the Holiday cottage), paragliding, mountain biking, discovering the great natural sites of the Cantal: Puy Mary, Plomb du Cantal, Lake du Pêcher, Nordic activities: cross-country skiing and snowshoeing at Col de Serre (5 km), downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing at Super-Lioran and Prat de Bouc, stag beetle in autumn. Also worth a visit is the village of Salers, listed as one of France's most beautiful villages.
This Holiday cottage benefits from a small enclosed plot with a terrace to one side. Private parking possible in the paddock. First floor: living room with fireplace and wood-burning stove (€70/m3 charge for wood), flat-screen TV, DVD player, stereo, kitchenette, storeroom with washing machine and fridge-freezer, separate toilet with washbasin. Upstairs, 1 bedroom with 1 double bed (fixed window without opening), 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, 1 bedroom with 1 double bed, shower room, separate toilet. Electric heating included.
