Nestled in a secluded spot between the Cantal mountains and the Truyère gorges, this gîte with its own entrance is on the first floor of the owners' house, in an old barn dating from 1857. It welcomes you to a peaceful setting.
This region is ideal for exploring the Cantal mountains (Plomb du Cantal, Puy Mary, Brezons valley, etc.), the Truyère gorges (fishing and water sports at Sarrans lake) and the Aubrac plateau. You can also discover the medieval towns of Pierrefort and Saint-Flour and the spa town of Chaudes-Aigues (Caleden spa center).
The gîte has private, unfenced grounds with garden furniture, barbecue and deckchairs. First floor: fitted kitchenette (table linen provided), spacious, bright living room with wood-burning stove (free wood), satellite flat-screen TV, DVD player, stereo system and wifi internet access. Upstairs, mezzanine with 2 single beds, 1 bedroom with 1 double bed, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, beds made up on arrival, bathroom with toilet, separate toilet. In the basement, laundry area and shower room with toilet. Oil-fired heating included. Rates include all charges in high and very high season. Bottled water supplied. No smoking.
