Located at the gateway to the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Nature Park, between Aurillac and the Puy Mary “Grand Site de France,” this charming, detached home—fully renovated and tastefully decorated—welcomes you to the heart of the village of Velzic.

Nearby, you’ll find a wide range of outdoor activities: hiking on the GR4 and GR400 trails, exploring the Jordanne Gorges and Puy Mary, fishing in the Jordanne River, adventure courses, and horseback riding at Lake des Graves. The Mandailles Outdoor Activities Center also offers rock climbing, canyoning, via ferrata, mountain biking, and electric hybrid bikes. In every season, you can also enjoy the Super-Lioran and Col de Légal resorts for downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and many other activities.

History buffs will appreciate the region’s rich heritage, featuring Romanesque churches, the villages of Salers, Tournemire, and Marcolès—listed among the “Most Beautiful Villages of France”—as well as the city of Aurillac and its historic center.

The house features an unfenced yard and a pleasant terrace equipped with patio furniture and a barbecue, as well as a storage room for bicycles in the basement. A public parking lot is just 50 meters away.

On the ground floor, you’ll enjoy a cozy living room with a fireplace featuring a wood pellet stove (pellets provided free of charge), a flat-screen TV, and a fully equipped open kitchen. Upstairs, there is a sleeping area with two single beds and a bedroom with a double bed, as well as an open-concept bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet.

For your convenience, the beds are made on arrival. Electric heating included. Rates include all utilities. Non-smoking holiday cottage.
