Nearby, you can discover the wide-open spaces of the Monts du Cantal by hiking (GR4 and GR400 nearby), cross-country skiing at the Col de Serre, dog-sledding at Lascours, fishing in the Petite Rhue, rock-climbing and paragliding (hang-gliding school at Le Claux). You can also discover the medieval towns of Riom-es-Montagnes and Murat.
The gîte benefits from a small, unenclosed courtyard to the front and a 100 m² enclosed garden to the rear, with garden furniture and barbecue.
