Situated at the foot of the Grand Site National du Puy Mary in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d'Auvergne, this house adjoining another gîte (n°380) welcomes you to the village of Le Claux.
Nearby, you can discover the wide-open spaces of the Monts du Cantal by hiking (GR4 and GR400 nearby), cross-country skiing at the Col de Serre, dog-sledding at Lascours, fishing in the Petite Rhue, rock-climbing and paragliding (hang-gliding school at Le Claux). You can also discover the medieval towns of Riom-es-Montagnes and Murat.
The gîte benefits from a small, unenclosed courtyard to the front and 300m² of enclosed grounds to the rear, with terrace, garden furniture and barbecue.
First floor: fitted kitchenette, living room with fireplace and wood-burning stove (€30/m³), flat-screen TV and separate toilet. Upstairs, 1 bedroom with 1 double bed, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and shower room. Electric heating according to consumption.

Un très bon séjour chez Michèle et Armand, dans un petit hameau agréable au milieu de dame nature au pied du Puy Mary.
Le gîte est bien entretenu, agréable et chaleureux. Les propriétaires nous ont parfaitement accueillis et sont d'une extrême gentillesse et à l'écoute.

très bonne quinzaine Excellent séjour
Très bon rapport avec les propriétaires attentifs et présents. Ce gîte est agréable, au calme et bien aménagé. De plus sa situation dans cette belle vallée de Cheylade est idéale; Plusieurs possibilités de randos sur place et d'autres dans les environs permettent de limiter l'usage de la voiture. Les jours de temps maussades, il y a de nombreux sites à visiter dont Salers et Murat, sans oublier les églises romanes de Cheylade, St Hippolyte, La font sainte, Apchon...

Couleuvre Découverte d'une belle région, cadre magnifique
Au pied du Puy Mary, le gîte est très bien situé pour les randonnées. Endroit calme, magnifiques paysages.
