Just a stone's throw from the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Nature Park, in the Jordanne Valley, this 2019 wooden Chalet is situated on a 4,000 m² property that includes the owners' home and another holiday cottage (No. 893). Holiday cottage certified by Tourism and Handicap: hearing, mental, and visual.
Located just above the only road serving the valley leading to Puy Mary and Aurillac, this accommodation is ideal for outdoor activities: numerous hikes (GR4, GR400, Jordanne Gorges, Puy Mary Grand National Site), Fishing and adventure courses at Lake des Graves, the outdoor activities center in Mandailles (hiking, horseback riding, rock climbing, canyoning, via ferrata, electric mountain/hybrid bikes), and the Super-Lioran resort (cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, snowshoeing). You can also explore the region’s architectural heritage: Romanesque churches, the villages of Salers and Tournemire—designated as “Most Beautiful Villages of France”—and the city of Aurillac with its Historical district.
On-site, you have access to a ping-pong table and a pétanque court shared with the other holiday cottage.
Built on one level, this holiday cottage features a 25 m² enclosed wooden deck with a view of the valley and private parking. Inside: fully equipped kitchenette, living room with a wood pellet stove (pellets provided), TV, Wifi Internet, 1 bedroom with a 160x200 cm bed, 1 bedroom with bunk beds, and a bathroom with a toilet. Laundry and storage room with exterior access. Electric heating in the bedrooms and bathroom, and a convection wood pellet stove in the living room. Rates are all inclusive. Beds are made on arrival and bathroom linen is provided. Accommodation is certified as eco-friendly. High-power charging station on-site for electric vehicles (additional fee based on usage).
