Nestled on a mountainside near Puy Mary, this detached character house welcomes you to a preserved environment on the heights of the village of Mandailles Saint Julien in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d'Auvergne. Situated at an altitude of 1050 m, this Holiday cottage is next to the owner's farm.
In the heart of the cirque de Mandailles, you can enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities: Hiking (GR4 and GR400 nearby), mountain biking, paragliding, canyoning, via ferrata and horseback riding at Lake des Graves, Nordic activities (downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, dog sledding...) at the Super-Lioran and Col de Légal ski resorts. You can also discover the medieval towns of Aurillac and Murat, and visit the villages of Salers and Tournemire, classified as the Most Beautiful Villages in France.
This Holiday cottage has an enclosed terrace equipped with garden furniture, barbecue, parasol and deckchairs. On the first floor, spacious living room with fireplace and pellet stove (pellets included), flat-screen TV and Internet access, and fully-equipped kitchenette. On the 1st floor, a bedroom with 1 double bed, a bedroom with a 120x190 single bed and a single bed, a shower room and a separate toilet. Beds made on arrival and bathroom linen provided. Electric heating included. All-inclusive rates.

Correspond parfaitement à notre attendu. Bon emplacement pour rayonner dans cette région roche de paysages, architecture et culture gustative. Voisinage discret mais sympathique. Sandrine Séjour dans le Cantal
Très bon séjour dans ce gîte qui a été restauré avec gout par ses jeunes propriétaires, très sympathiques. Il est spacieux et tout confort.
Nous avons apprécié nous réchauffer au près du poêle pendant cette fraiche semaine d'hiver. Nous nous y sommes bien ressourcés.
Le gite est bien placé pour visiter la région, pour la randonnée ou le ski.
Nous étions venus voir la neige, nous avons été servi !
Les enfants ont pu profiter de faire de la luge à proximité du gîte.
Nous reviendrons pourquoi pas, en été, voir le Puy Mary ou le Puy Griou !- Cleanliness

Super séjour au calme, très joli gîte magnifiquement agencé et décoré avec beaucoup de goût, situé en plein coeur de la vallée de Mandailles. Excellent accueil. Nous y retournerons très certainement ! Nous le conseillons vivement sans réserve à toute personne souhaitant se rendre dans le coin.

Très beau gîte , fort bien aménagé , les jeunes propriétaires sont sympa .De plus le gîte est bien situé sur les hauteurs de la vallée de la Jordane , se qui offre une multitude de balades et randonnées

We loved this newly renovated gîte. Much thought had gone into making it the perfect place to stay for exploring Cantal.
We appreciated the warm welcome (and cheese!) and the gîte was even better than we had hoped. The kitchen and wooden furniture were beautifully made, the bed was really comfortable and we were very cosy.
The views from the gîte show just how stunning this area is, so much to see and do nearby.
Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will return.
