In the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d'Auvergne, our gîtes and fishing village welcomes you all year round between Mauriac and Riom-es-Montagnes. This semi-detached gîte, with its own entrance on one level, is housed in a renovated barn dating from 1890. A cozy little cocoon, it's perfect for a couple's getaway to enjoy the wonders of the Cantal region. We take the time to welcome you and offer you a wide range of ideas for discovering our region.

Nestled in a small mid-mountain village, you can enjoy hiking (Col d'Aulac, Mars valley, Puy Mary, etc.), fishing (Trout Area at Roussillou with Guillaume, Trizac and Menet lakes, Sumène and Mars rivers), cross-country skiing and snowshoeing (cross-country ski center at Le Falgoux) and swimming (Trizac and Bort-les-Orgues lakes). You can also discover the region's rich architectural heritage: Romanesque church circuit, buron visits, Auzers and Trémolière castles.

Guillaume, a qualified fishing guide and former member of the French fishing team, is waiting for you to experience exceptional moments on the water. Whether you're looking for personalized guidance on the river or an area fishing session (exceptional no-kill fish) on Lac de Roussillou in Riom-ès-Montagnes, we have a range of packages to suit all fishing enthusiasts.
You have access to the large 5,000m² communal area at the Cantal Emotions reception with mini-farm, pétanque pitch, badminton court and trampoline. In summer, we offer nature activities (marmot encounters, Roussillou walks, fishing workshops) to all visitors, free of charge.
The gîte has its own private fenced garden with garden furniture, deckchairs and barbecue. First floor: fitted and equipped kitchen, living room with sofa and flat-screen TV, 1 bedroom with 1 bed 160X200, shower room, separate toilet. On 1st floor, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds (height under beams 1.82m). Wifi internet access. Electric heating according to consumption. Animal supplement payable to owners: cat 10€, small dog 25€, medium and large dog 40€. Cleaning deposit €100. Entrance to gîte at 18:00. Minimum 3-night rental for bridge weekend from €300 - 4 nights: €420.
