A charming, detached holiday cottage renovated in keeping with local traditions (slate roof, exposed stone and beams), this holiday cottage will captivate you with its authentic charm and peaceful setting, ideal for rest and relaxation.
At the foot of the mountain pastures, you can enjoy hiking and fishing right on the property. At the foot of Puy Mary, you can explore the glacial valleys that flow from it (the Mars, Impradine, and Santoire valleys; the Maronne, Aspre, and Bertrande valleys; and the Jordanne and Petite Rhue valleys). In all seasons, you can explore our surroundings on foot, with snowshoes, on skis, and even by paragliding. You’ll also have the chance to discover the area by bike, with electric mountain bike rentals available 8.5 km away in Trizac. Swimming is also a highlight, with numerous lakes (Trizac, Lastioulles) and lakes. You’ll enjoy our cultural tours, including Salers—listed as one of the Most Beautiful Villages of France—Menet, designated a “Petite Cité de Caractère,” the Château d’Auzers, the ruins of the Château d’Apchon, and our Romanesque churches... Overlooking the hamlet of La Peyre Grosse, this holiday cottage features a 400 m² fenced-in yard (currently being landscaped with grass) and a terrace where you can enjoy pleasant moments of togetherness. The terrace is equipped with outdoor furniture, a barbecue, a parasol, and lounge chairs.
On the ground floor, you’ll find a living room with a fireplace and wood-burning stove (free firewood), a flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchenette, a bathroom, a separate toilet, and a utility room with a washing machine.
On the first floor, you’ll find one bedroom with a 160x200 cm bed and another with two 90x200 cm beds that can be joined to form a 180x200 cm bed. The beds will be made upon your arrival. Electric heating included. Rates are all inclusive and include all utilities.
