Nestled in a small mountain hamlet in the heart of the Mandailles valley, this fully-renovated 1842 detached house with character, adjoining a second home, welcomes you to a peaceful setting with panoramic views over the valley.
Situated in the Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d'Auvergne, this region is ideal for outdoor activities: Hiking (Gorges de la Jordanne, GR4 and GR400 nearby), Fishing, adventure trails, via ferrata and horse-riding at Lake des Graves, activities at Mandailles (paragliding, climbing, trail, canyoning...), snowshoeing, Cross-country skiing and downhill skiing at Super Lioran and Col de Légal. You can also visit Salers and Tournemire, classified as the Most Beautiful Villages in France, and the City of Aurillac.
This Holiday cottage benefits from semi-enclosed grounds and a terrace with pergola, garden furniture, deckchairs and barbecue. First floor: separate fitted kitchenette, living room with fireplace (wood-burning stove €60/m3), flat-screen TV, DVD player and Internet access, 1 bedroom with 1 double bed, private shower room, separate toilet. 1st floor: 1 bedroom with 1 double bed (140x200), 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, shower room with wc. Geexy Quiétude au coeur des puys du Cantal
Le Gîte est très bien placé, sur le coteau sud de la vallée bénéficiant d'une très bonne exposition et d'une vue magnifique. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la pergola dès le petit déjeuné et jusqu'au diner !
Le plus : l'accès direct aux sentiers de randonnée montant aux crètes que l'on poursuit jusqu'au puy Mary.- Cleanliness

Propriétaire très sympathique. Petits cadeaux à notre arrivée. Un beau gite bien situé et bien équipé. Le volcan cantalien est une super région à voir absolument. Un séjour idéal pour les randonneurs.

Aucune fausse note dans ce gîte aménagé avec goût et tout confort. Au calme, vue superbe et proximité de sites remarquables.Voisinage discret, accueil général trés humain.

OJ Très beau gîte idéalement situé
Nous avons passé 2 semaines en juillet dans ce très beau gîte tout confort.
Vue panoramique sur les montagnes environnantes dont nous avons profité pendant nos repas en terrasse.
Le GR 400 passe devant la maison permettant des randonnées sans voiture.
Gîte très calme à l’écart du village et de la route principale.
Le gîte occupe la moitié droite de la maison mais est totalement indépendant et ne souffre d’aucune nuisance.
Idéal pour se ressourcer et prendre un bain de nature.- Cleanliness

ssom Vallée de la Jordanne début juillet
Bien belle semaine dans ce gîte confortable et bien équipé (si ce n'est le peu de rangements pour stocker le ravitaillement pour 6-8 personnes).
Situé dans un splendide cadre naturel , que nous avons apprécié lors des petits déjeuners et dîners pris sur la terrasse.
Très bon contact avec notre hôte.
