Nestled in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d'Auvergne, this fully renovated single-storey detached house dating from 1866, with its contemporary decor, welcomes you to a small mountain hamlet at an altitude of 1,200 m.
Located 14km from Le Prat de Bouc and 20km from the Super Lioran ski resort, this region is ideal for Nordic activities: Cross-country skiing on site, and downhill skiing and snowshoeing 15km from the house. You can also enjoy Hiking (GR4 and GR400 nearby) and discover the wide-open spaces of the Monts du Cantal (Plomb du Cantal, Grand Site National du Puy Mary...). You can also visit the medieval towns of Murat and Saint Flour, the spa town of Chaudes Aigues, the Château du Sailhant and the Garabit Viaduct.
This Holiday cottage, which has been awarded the "Gîte de neige" label, has an unfenced plot of 680m² with garden furniture, barbecue and parasol. There's also a storage room in the adjoining former cowshed.
Living room with fireplace (free wood-burning stove), alcove lounge area with flat-screen TV, wifi internet access, DVD player and stereo, fully-equipped built-in kitchenette, 1 family bedroom with 1 double bed and 2 single bunk beds, shower room, separate toilet, storeroom. Alexandra Ein herrlicher Platz der Ruhe
Ein wunderschönes Häuschen in der absoluten Ruhe. Ein Ort zum Entspannen! Vielen Lauf-und Wanderstrecke rundrum oder nicht weit mit dem Auto, z.B. Puy Mary.
Das Häuschen bietet alles was man braucht. Liebevoll eingerichtet und der Empfang von Josette ist sehr herzlich, trotz unserer Sprachhindernisse.
Wir haben meist selbst gekocht, die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet! Supermarkt in Murat bietet auch alles und gute Restaurants und Café s gibt es auch.
Uns hat es so gut gefallen, dass wir im nächsten Jahr wieder dieses Häuschen buchen werden, nur etwas später, dann ist das Wetter vielleicht beständiger!

Les normands. Séjour très agréable.
Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable dans ce gîte très confortable avec en prime la possibilité de randonner en raquettes à proximité. L'altitude 1200m nous a permis de voir tomber la neige en quantité suffisante. Accueil très sympathique avec une délicate attention gourmandes offerte à l'accueil.

BB Une semaine au vert
J'ai vraiment passé une très bonne semaine. Le gîte est très agréable et l'on s'y sent bien. Pour tous ceux qui aiment la nature et le calme ce gîte est fait pour vous. Il y a de très belles randonnées à faire depuis le gîte. Et pour couronner le tout, le soleil était bien présent. Et un grand merci aux propriétaires pour accepter nos amis à 4 pattes.

Rico et Fanette Séjour formidable
Formidable séjour dans cette jolie maison entourée d'un paysage magnifique offrant de belles randonnées et tellement de choses à découvrir aux alentours. Et pour ne rien gâcher Josette une propriétaire adorable.

Christine 1 semaine au CHE
Tout commence par un accueil très chaleureux. Madame LOURS étant d'une extrême gentillesse. Gîte très propre,confortable. Il n'y manque rien. Environnement très calme, permettant de se ressourcer. Beaucoup de possibilités de belles randonnées à proximité.
En cas de météo capricieuse, possibilité de faire du feu dans le poêle à bois, très apprécié.
Si possible, nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.
