Situated between the Cantal mountains and the Dordogne gorges, this 19th-century detached house of character, renovated in 2012, welcomes you to a pleasant little village on the banks of the Maronne. At the rear of the house, you'll find a private heated 8x4-meter swimming pool, open from June 13 to September 26, 2026.
Numerous activities are possible nearby: visit Salers and Tournemire classified as the Most Beautiful Villages in France, Pleaux classified as a "Petite Cité de Caractère", visit the castles of Trémolière, Anjony and Cambon, discover the Monts du Cantal, the Grand Site National du Puy Mary and the Dordogne valley, take part in a wide range of Hiking and Fishing activities in the Maronne river, or take a dip in Lake Enchanet.
This Holiday cottage benefits from a storage room for equipment, bikes or motorcycles, an enclosed courtyard at the front, a terrace and 1000 m² of enclosed grounds at the rear with garden furniture, deckchairs and barbecue.

Coco69770 Une grande et belle maison au calme
La maison, ancienne et de caractère, est spacieuse et agréable. Une belle bibliothèque permet de se sentir comme chez soi. Pour les journées d'été la piscine est bienvenue, assez grande et juste assez profonde sans perdre pied. Tout est là pour profiter du séjour et avoir un lieu de repos après les activités touristiques. Sans oublier le très bon accueil du propriétaire.

Seul petit bémol beaucoup de guêpes et de frelons,dangereux pour enfants et animaux

Famille De Groodt Gîte spacieux et bien équipé
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Saint-Christophe les Gorges
Le gîte est spacieux et bien équipé, la piscine privative a été bien appréciée
Chemins de randonnées sur place et plein de choses à visiter dans un rayon d'une heure de voiture (ne manquez pas Salers !).
Il n'y a aucun moustique :)
La cloche de l'église empêche les grasses matinées mais on s'y habitue vite.
