Nestled between the Plomb du Cantal and the Truyère gorges, this fully-renovated, detached house with character, built in 1800, has been awarded the "gîte de neige" and "gîte à la ferme" labels, and welcomes you to an unspoilt setting in a small mountain hamlet.
Situated near the Brezons valley, this region is ideal for outdoor activities: hiking, downhill skiing, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing (Prat de Bouc ski resort and cross-country ski center at Cézens), discovering the many waterfalls and the Truyère gorges (equipped beaches, fishing, sailing, canoeing and pedal-boating). You can also discover the towns of Murat and Saint-Flour, the Garabit viaduct and the Chaudes-Aigues spa.
The gîte benefits from an enclosed courtyard and 800 m² of unenclosed grounds with garden furniture, portico, trampoline, sandpit and children's tree house. First floor: fitted kitchen, living room with fireplace (free wood-burning stove), TV, DVD player, wifi internet access and telephone, shower room and separate toilet. 1st floor: 1 bedroom with 1 x 160cm bed, 1 bedroom with 1 x 2-person bed, shower room with WC. 2nd floor: 1 bedroom with 2 double beds and 1 single bed. Oil-fired heating included. Rates include all utilities.

Nous sommes venus dans ce gîte à 6 adultes et 1 enfant de 3 ans et demi. C'était vraiment parfait. Il s'agit d'une maison ancienne donc oui le parquet grince mais nous nous en doutions donc ça ne nous a pas dérangé. Les propriétaires ont été adorables du début à la fin. Nous avons passé un séjour en pleine nature, au calme, bref nous avons vraiment profité toute la semaine.

Gens de l'Est séjour paisible et chaleureux
Nous recommandons pleinement, et ce, autant pour le gite que pour la gentillesse et la disponibilité des propriétaires. Très attentifs qui ont répondu très rapidement à nos besoins. Le gîte est confortable, bien équipé et d'une propreté rarement égalée. De plus quel calme dans ce lieu-dit. Les petits (4 enfants entre 5 et 7 ans ont pu profiter de l'extérieur en totale liberté sans inquiétude. Des commerces de belle qualité à 10 mn. Et le Cantal avec ses balades, châteaux, ... de belles vacances très ressorcantes. Merci aux propriétaires et nous reviendrons certainement.

Rickito Au calme
La maison est très agréable avec tout le confort nécessaire pour passer un bon séjour. Les enfants ont pu bien profiter du jardin et des animaux tout proches!!
Le gîte est bien à l’écart, il n’y a aucun bruit :)
Parfait pour se reposer et profiter de la nature.
